Cuzzi Conference

It was a really exciting day on Monday, as MLB Phil Cuzzi paid a visit to PV. I was very happy that he was able to make it before Spring Training, and talk about his career. Though he failed multiple times in umpiring school, persevered and finally passed. From there it was still a rocky road. He had to ascend through the minor leagues and prove that he was a major league quality umpire. After several other challenges, he was promoted to the big leagues and officially accomplished his goal. 

Throughout the conference he spoke about accomplishing your goals, and one quote that stuck out was "you don't have to fall asleep to start dreaming." A lot of the students appreciated this quote. 

Mr. Cuzzi also went through some video of his ejections and explained what occurred.
