We Have Powers

Last week, we had the opportunity to speak to News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist, Michele Powers. I had the opportunity to co-moderate this conference and I enjoyed doing so. What interested me in this conference was the fact that she is in the communications field and is on TV quite a bit. Though it's not sports related, it was nice to talk to someone who's currently on air.  She was able to give us some info on what it's like to be in front of the camera. One thing that I always wondered is how she could point to a spot on the green screen and look into the camera at the same time. It doesn't look easy but they make it look natural. It was also interesting to hear that she things we might have a cold winter, along with a lot of change in weather. For example, one day we might have a snowy day, and the next could be 50 degrees and sunny. I learned a lot from the conference and enjoyed it a lot.
